Day 01 :  DELHI / JAIPUR (6 hrs): Drive to Jaipur or optionally take the early morning train stopping enroute at Amber for a tour of the hilltop fort on elephant back. Check into Palace hotel. Post lunch tour of city palace, observatory and palace of winds. Evening view puppet show. Overnight Jaipur

Day 02 : JAIPUR / RANTHAMBORE (3 hrs). After a leisurely breakfast drive to Ranthambore arriving by lunch. Check into Jungle Resort. Post lunch jeep tour of the park with a naturalist. Evening view tiger film as you enjoy a bonfire dinner. Overnight Ranthambore.

Day 03 : RANTHAMBORE / BHARATPUR (6 hrs): Drive to Bharatpur bird sanctuary with a brief stopover at Karauli palace for lunch. Check into forest lodge/palace, Evening rickshaw/canoe tour of the sanctuary to view a variety of migratory birds including the rare Siberian crane. Overnight Bharatpur.

Day 04 : BHARATPUR / AGRA (2 hrs): Morning free to bird watch & view wildlife. Later drive to Agra via the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Check into hotel. Post lunch tour of the Taj Mahal & the fabulous Agra fort. Overnight Agra

Day 05 : AGRA / KHAJURAHO: Morning fort of ltmad-ud-daula. Later board afternoon flight to       Khajuraho. Transfer to hotel. Evening tour of southern group of the famous Chandela temples. Overnight Khajuraho.

Day 06 : KHAJURAHO / VARANASI: Morning tour of eastern group of temples. Later board       afternoon flight to Varanasi. Transfer to hotel. Evening boat cruise on the Ganges to view the ghats. Overnight Varanasi.

Day 07 :  VARANASI / KATHMANDU: Half day city tour of temples & Sarnath. Post lunch flight to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 08 :  KATHMANDU: Half day tour of city palace, Patan & Swayambhunath. Evening view  Nepalese cultural dances. Overnight Kathmandu.

Day 09 : KATHMANDU / CHITWAN: Fly to Chitwan National Park. Transfer to jungle lodge. The park is known for its tiger and rhino sightings. Safaris are conducted on elephant back, canoes & land rovers. Overnight Jungle Lodge.

Day 10 :  CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK: Morning and evening jungle safari. Overnight Jungle Lodge.

Day 11 :  CHITWAN / DELHI : Fly to Kathmandu for connecting flight to Delhi.

Duration: 8 Nights/9 Days
Destinations: Corbett - Agra- Khajuraho - Kanha - Raipur

Day 01 : DELHI / CORBETT (6 hrs) : Drive to Corbett National Park.Check into your jungle lodge. Post lunch park safari on elephant back accompanied by naturalist. Evening bonfire & barbecue.  O/N Corbett.

Day 02 : CORBETT : Morning & evening park visits to see a variety of wildlife in jeeps & elephant back. Evening at leisure at the pool side or the riverside or view a tiger film. Overnight Corbett.

Day 03 : CORBETT / AGRA: Early morning repeat safari, later drive to Agra. Check into hotel in Agra. Afternoon city sightseeing of Agra fort and visit the Jag Mahal in the soft light of the setting sun. It is the world's greatest monument to love, built by Shah Jehan as a memorial to his beloved wife, Mumtaz. Overnight Agra

Day 04 : AGRA / KHAJURAHO : Morning transfer to airport to board flight to Khajuraho. Transfer to hotel in the afternoon. Visit the Chandela dynasty temples, famous for their spectacular sculpture and erotic carvings. Overnight Khajuraho.

Day 05 :  KHAJURAHO / BANDHAVGARH (5 hrs) Drive to Bandhavgarh tiger reserve. Check into the jungle lodge. Evening park safari on jeeps. Overnight Bandhavgarh.

Day 06 :  BANDHAVGARH / KANHA (5 hrs): Drive to Kanha your journey takes you deep into The Madhya Pradesh heartland & setting of Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book. Check into the fascinating Kiplings camp. This national park is the only one in the country which can boast of having the same abundance of wildlife and variety of species since the days Kipling wrote his book Originally the area was famed as a hunters parade but now the valley has been developed as a national park. The park has deciduous forest, rolling grasslands and meandering streams. It has over 22 species of wildlife including The rare barasingha (swamp deer) and over 230 species of birds. Evening jungle drive. Overnight Kanha.

Day 07 : KANHA: Morning & evening jungle drive you will spend time on machans (viewing        platforms) near water holes. Overnight Kanha.

Day 08 :  KANHA / KAWARDHA (4hrs) : After early morning jungle drive, proceed to Kawardha. Check into Palace Kawardha, which has been recently opened to visitors by the Maharaja. It is delightfully quiet and unspoiled in contrast with India's other "palace circuits". Kawardha is in the centre of the Baiga tribe who live in the forest surrounding The town. The Radha Krishna family temple with underground roofs & The holy water tank are fascinating. It is a unique experience for visiting the tribal settlements. Overnight Palace 

Day 09 :  KAWARDHA / RAIPUR / DELHI:  Morning at leisure with the Royal  family. Later transfer to Raipur for flight to Delhi.

Day 01 : AGRA: Drive to Agra. Check into hotel. Post lunch tour of Taj Mahal and fort. Evening free to explore bylines and streets on bicycles.Overnight Agra.

Day 02 : BHARATPUR: Cycle to Fatehpur Sikri (20 kms). Interesting ride on the district road. After a sightseeing tour of the deserted city, drive to Bharatpur bird sanctuary, Check into forest lodge.  Evening free for a bicycle tour of the sanctuary to birdwatch. Overnight Bharatpur.

Day 03 :  KARAULI : Morning free for bird watching and wildlife viewing on canoes.Later drive to Karauli dismounting short of the village to cycle upto the Bhanwar Vilas palace.lnteresting countryside views.You may stop at the local village to see the way of life. Check into the palace hotel. Evening bar-be-que around a bonfire. Local village folk dancers/musicians in attendance.O/N Bhanwar Vilas Palace.

Day 04 : RANTHAMBORE : Morning horse ride or take a vintage car ride to the lakeside. Later       drive to Ranthambore, cycling a interesting 10 kms stretch. Check into your Jungle resort. Overnight Ranthambore.

Day 05 : JAIPUR: Morning jeep safari of the wildlife park accompanied by naturalist. Ranthambore park is known to have the highest density of tiger population. After lunch drive to Jaipur. Check into your palace hotel. Overnight Jaipur.

Day 06 : JAIPUR: Full day tour of the city palace, observatory, palace of winds and bazaar.  Choice of cycle or coach is upto you. Evening tour of Amber fort on elephant bock. Overnight Jaipur. 

Day 07 : SAMODE : Cycle to Samode (20 kms). Interesting ride in the desert country. You will come across a riot of colours, be it moustached men in colourful turbans or women in colourful long skirts and stoles. Check into The Royal Samode Palace. Evening free in the palace to view a village family of singers sing and dance in the courtyard. Also puppet show viewing while you enjoy a chota peg. Overnight Samode.

Day 08 : SAMODE / DELHI ( 6 Hrs): Morning free to explore this interesting village on bicycles and later enjoy a camel ride upto the royal orchards for lunch. Drive back to Delhi arriving by lunch

Day 01 (Wednesday) Delhi : Dinner on board Dep. 2245 hrs.

Day 02 (Thursday) Delhi / Jaipur : Arrival Jaipur 0830 hrs. You will be greeted by caparisoned elephants and strains of the shehnai. Welcome to the Pink City of jaipur. Lunch at Rambagh Palace. Discover Hawa Mahal,  Nahargarh Fort, Amber Fort. Silent sentinels of a glorious era (Dep.: 2210).

Day 03 (Friday) Chittorgarh : Arrival Chittorgarh 0730  hrs. Images of love and valour; scars of battles lost and won. Thrice besieged, Chittorgarh is all this and more. Moving legends of honour and pride will echo in your mind as you proceed to Udaipur.

Day 03 Contd. Udaipur :  The city of lakes, palaces and gardens, temples and forts. Udaipur. Lunch at the lake Palace Hotel, the former summer residence of the princes of Mewar. Enjoy the tranquility of lake Pichola. Visit the City Palace in all its ancient glory, the residence  of the maharajas of Udaipur. (Dep. : 2200 hrs.)

Day 04 (Saturday) Sawai Madhopur : Arrival Sawai Madhopur 0630 hrs. Welcome to verdant Sawai Madhopur and the beautiful 10th century fort of Ranthambore. Surrounded by the Ranthambore National Park, a Project Tiger Reserve, the imposing ramparts of the fort soar above. They too have tales to tell ! (Dep. : 1230 hrs.)

Day 05 (Sunday) Jaisalmer : Arrival Jaisalmer 0900 hrs. Arrival at the 12th century city of Jaisalmer dominated by its sandstone fort of 99 bastions. Visit the equisitely carved havelis and palaces with their

latticed windows, balconies, cupolas and facades. Experience the famed camel safaris and desert camps and dine under the stars as the rhythm of Rajasthani music drifts into the night (Dep. 2330 hrs.).

Day 06 (Monday) Jodhpur : Arrival Jodhpur 0900 hrs. The Mehrangarh Fort is all pervasive in this 15th century city. Visit this magnificent fort and Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph close by. Lunch at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, the royal residence, a part of which is now a hotel. Dep. 1545 hrs.

Day 07 (Tuesday) Bharatpur : Arrival Bharatpur 0715 hrs. A wonderland for birds, visit the renowned Keoladeo Ghana National Park at Bharatpur and now a world heritage site. It is home to 300 species of birds some flying in from as far as Siberia and China.

Day 07 Contd. Agra : Lunch at the Taj View in Agra and proceed to one of the  most beautiful monuments ever conceived. The Taj Mahal, built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan to commemorate  eternal love for his queen, Mumtaz Mahal. Breathtaking in its proportions and craftsmanship, it is captivating. The timeless city of Agra offers you many more monuments and tombs, all exquisite in architectural skill and beauty. (Dep. : 2000 hrs.)

Day 08 (Wednesday) Delhi : Arrival Delhi 0730 hrs. Breakfast on board and return to Delhi Cantt. Railway Station.
